We are excited to offer the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Leeds Beckett University, a prestigious Level 7 postgraduate qualification recognised worldwide. This course is ideal for teachers working in China who want to enhance their credentials and career prospects.




Start Date: September 15th, 2025

Duration: The course runs until July 2026.

Modules and Assessments: You will complete three modules FULLY ONLINE, each culminating in a 4,000-word assignment. There are no exams or practical assessments, just the assignments. No attendance needed, complete in your free time.

Tuition Fees: The course fee is £3,250 GBP (can pay in RMB also)

2023 is £2500, 2024 is £2750, 2025 is £3250, - it’s going up, don't miss the opportunity.

Are you ready? We will make your application group, this is where you will post your information and documents. After we have everything, it will take a couple weeks for your offer letter to come through. Once you're on the course, we can invite you to our support group where we share tips and strategies for how to successfully complete the course. Application deadline is September 4th.

The following documents are required for application process to join the distance-learning course PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education). 


Academic qualifications


• Degree Certificate

(If you have both Bachelors and master’s degrees, please submit both)

• Degree Transcript 

(Academic transcript must show what modules you did and the scores you received)

Academic qualifications since high school are required. All documents should be submitted in PDF format and sent to our agent on your dedicated application group on WeChat. The more qualifications you send to us, the higher chances we have at successfully receiving an unconditional offer.

Supporting documents


• CV / Resume 

(Must show all working experience in educational institutions, include name of institution, the start and end date)

• Reference Letter/Recommendation Letter 

 (From current employer is required, plus from past employer is preferable. Should include applicant’s working responsibilities)

• Employment Verification

(Current employment. Should be signed by your employer. Form can be provided by Englisher Ltd.)

• Personal Statement

(should focus on the purpose of pursuing the program and personal background, which includes working experience as a teacher WITHIN CHINA, plans for academic preparation and career goals)


English Language Proficiency


For this requirement, only apply to non-native speakers

Please do understand the different policies between China and UK. The courses we provide are PGCE are fully operated by UK government (DfE) and are accredited courses. We strictly follow the policies set and the requirements needed according to the UK government.

The UK government classifies the following countries native English speakers.

English Language Proficiency Test:

For applicant who wishes to join the course in a short period of time, we recommend taking Duolingo test, it requires less time and preparation, moreover less money spent.

For applicant who has been teaching IELTS/TOEFL in China, taking IELTS/TOEFL might be a desirable option to boost current teaching experience as well as to prove your language proficiency.

For applicants who are from South Africa can bypass the English proficiency test if they can provide their Matric NSC scores from high school showing English at 60% or more.

Documents that are not in English need to be translated before submitting. Certified translation is not required but do make sure the accuracy of translation for successful application.
