This policy is designed to implement and protect the rights and interests of foreigners with Chinese permanent residence identity cards in work, life and entrepreneurship. For this reason, more and more foreigners have submitted applications for permanent residencein China, and some foreigners have been successfully granted permanent residence identity cards in China.
So, when getting the China permanent residence ID card, what are foreigners must know?
1.China Permanent Residence ID card is the legal identity card offoreigners who have obtained the permanent residence qualification in China, which can be used separately.
2.Foreigners qualified for permanent residence in China should use their China permanent residence ID card and passport at the same time, although they need no visa and have an unlimited number of times.
3.Foreigners who have obtained the permanent residence qualification in China do not need to confirm whether the hotel can receive them inadvance. They can also use the China permanent Residence ID card tostay in the hotel, and need to cooperate with the accommodation procedures. However, those who live or live in other residence otherthan the hotel shall still need to apply for temporary accommodation registration to the public security organ of their residence within24 hours after staying. Those who do not apply for accommodation registration to the public security organ or stay without valid certificates will be given a warning or a fine even if the foreigner is eligible for permanent residence in China.
4.The validity period of the China Permanent Residence ID Card is fiveor ten years, and the application is required within one month beforethe expiration of the valid certificate. If the certificate is damaged or lost, it shall apply for replacement or replacement in time.
5.Foreigners who are approved to have permanent residence in China shall have accumulated residence in China for no less than three months each year after obtaining the permanent residence qualification. If it is impossible to stay in China for three months each year due to actual needs, the approval of the public security department and bureau of the province / autonomous region /municipality directly under the Central Government where the residence is located for a long time is required, but the total time of residence in China within five years shall not be less than one year.

那么，当拿到中国永久居留身份证后，有哪些注意事项是外籍人士必须要知道的呢？
1.中国永久居留身份证是获得在中国永久居留资格的外籍人士在中国境内居留的合法身份证件，可以单独使用。
2.获得在中国永久居留资格的外籍人士在出入中国国境时，虽然无需签证且不限次数，但需中国永久居留身份证和护照同时使用。
3.获得在中国永久居留资格的外籍人士无需提前确认酒店旅馆是否能接待，亦可使用中国永久居留身份证在酒店旅馆住宿，并需配合办理住宿手续。但在酒店旅馆以外其他住所居住或者住宿的，仍需在入住后24小时内向居住地公安机关申报临时住宿登记。不向公安机关申报住宿登记或者留宿未持有效证件外籍人士的责任者，即便该外籍人士获得在中国永久居留资格，仍将被依法处以警告或罚款处罚。
4.中国永久居留身份证的有效期为五年或者十年，需要在证件有效期满前1个月以内申请换发。如遇证件损坏或者遗失的，需要及时申请换发或者补发。
5.被批准在中国永久居留的外籍人士，在获得永久居留资格后，每年在中国累计的居留时间不得少于三个月。确因实际需要每年不能在中国累计居留满三个月的，需经长期居留所在地的省/自治区/直辖市的公安厅、局批准，但在五年内必须在中国累计居留的时间不得少于一年。
