After the employer submits the application for the work permit, the specific approval process and processing cycle are as follows:
1. Online pre-trial
The acceptance institution shall conduct pre-examination of the materials submitted online within 5 working days from the date of submission ofthe materials (the date of submission of the materials shall not becounted as the period). If the materials are not complete and the contents are not standardized, the acceptance agency shall notify the required correction materials online at one time; If the materialsare complete and the content is standardized, the online notification or the appointment to submit the materials on the spot.
2. Accept
The accepting agency decides whether to accept the case after review. If the application is within the scope of the authority of the administrative organ, and the application materials are complete and meet the requirements, it shall be accepted on the spot;
If the application materials are not complete or do not conform to the legal form, they shall be informed of the contents to be corrected, and will be accepted after the correction;
If it does not fall within the scope of the authority of the administrative organ, the accepting institution shall explain the reasons and basis for the rejection, and the accepting institution shall issue a notice of rejection stamped with the special seal of administrative license, and shall deliver the paper materials to the applicant or the employer within 5 days from the date of receipt.
3. Review
After the examination is passed, the "Foreigner Work Permit Notice" is generated online. The applicant shall apply for the Foreigner's Work Permit within 15 days after entering the country. After submitting the materials for verification, the deciding agency shall review and make a decision within 10 working days (the date of submitting the materials for verification shall not be counted as the period). To apply for the "Work Permit for Foreigners in China", it is necessary to verify the original of the employment contract or employment certificate, work qualification certificate, no criminal record certificate, medical examination certificate, the highest degree certificate and other original documents.
4. Decide
If the conditions and standards are met, the decision organ shall make adecision on granting administrative license and apply for long-term work in China, and issue and deliver the Foreigner Work Permit within10 days from the date of making the decision on permit. If it doesnot meet the conditions and standards, it shall make a written decision to deny the license, explain the reasons, and inform the applicant or the employer that it has the right to apply for administrative reconsideration or bring an administrative lawsuit according to law.

当用人单位递交工作许可的申请之后，具体审批流程和办理周期如下：
1.网上预审
受理机构应当自材料提交之日起5个工作日（材料提交当日不计算在期间内）内对网上提交的材料进行预审。材料不齐全、内容不规范的，受理机构应当一次性在线告知需补正材料；材料齐全、内容规范的，在线通知或预约现场提交材料。
2.受理
受理机构审查后决定是否受理。申请事项属于本行政机关职权范围，申请材料齐全、符合要求的，应当当场予以受理；
申请材料不齐全或不符合法定形式的，告知需补正内容，补正后予以受理；
不属于本行政机关职权范围的，受理机构要说明不予受理的理由和依据，由受理机构出具加盖行政许可专用印章的不予受理通知书，并自接收纸质材料之日起5日内送达申请人或用人单位。
3.审查
审查通过后，在线生成《外国人工作许可通知》。申请人应当在入境后15日内提出申领《外国人工作许可证》。提交材料核验后，决定机构应当在10工作日内（材料提交核验当日不计算在期间内）进行审查并作出决定。申领《外国人来华工作许可证》，均需核验聘用合同或任职证明原件、工作资历证明、无犯罪记录证明、体检证明、最高学位证书证明等原件。
4.决定
符合条件、标准的，决定机构作出准予行政许可决定，申请长期来华工作的，自许可作出决定之日起10日内颁发、送达《外国人工作许可证》。不符合条件、标准的，作出不予许可书面决定，说明理由，并告知申请人或用人单位享有依法申请行政复议或者提起行政诉讼的权利。
许可决定机构可根据用人单位及申请人信用记录情况，简化外国人来华工作许可延期申请的纸质材料核验环节。
